Annual Surveying Services for Canal Rehabilitation Program

The Lake Worth Drainage District (LWDD) in Palm Beach County, Fla., needed surveying services to be provided in support of various drainage projects throughout the area.

As part of a continuing services contract, DRMP surveyors provided on-call services to support the District for 61 task work orders to analyze all boundary discrepancies, access issues, schedule and supporting documentation for 900miles of interconnecting canals and drainage features of the LWDD. DRMP’s surveying team provided the following services: canal right-of-way surveys; staking; topographic surveys; hydrographic surveys; water control structure surveys; and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) mapping services.

DRMP’s skilled surveying approach and accurate deliverables allowed the LWDD to better assess its canal and drainage needs.
