ORLANDO, Fla. – DRMP, Inc. (DRMP) is enhancing its surveying and mapping services by partnering with Geomatics Corporation (Geomatics), a 23-person surveying and mapping consulting firm based in St. Augustine, Fla. With the addition of Geomatics, DRMP is bolstering its presence throughout Northeast Florida with additional staff resources.
Since it was founded in 1999, Geomatics has built its success through its expertise and long-standing work relationships with its private and public sector clients, including the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), St. Johns County, and the City of St. Augustine. They have worked on many projects concentrated on Florida’s East Coast and beyond providing a wide range of surveying and mapping services and assisting clients with standard surveying and mapping permitting requirements.
In addition to its FDOT and municipality work, Geomatics’ range of impactful projects includes providing a 4,000-acre boundary survey for Spaceport Camden (UCC property in Woodbine, Georgia); working on a countywide flood-mitigation infrastructure survey to aid in the production of the latest Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) flood maps for St. Johns County; and performing surveying work for the planned-unit development of Nocatee, Florida, highlighted as one of the top-ranked suburbs in Florida.
