ORLANDO, Fla. – DRMP has promoted Gene McClendon III, PE, to its new Orlando Drainage Group Leader in the Transportation Market Sector helping to bolster the firm’s strategic growth in this area.

In his new role as Orlando Drainage Group Leader, his duties will include management of local staff and project assignments, as well as leading drainage division marketing efforts for local clients to support the development of the Orlando Transportation Drainage group. McClendon joined DRMP in 2002 shortly after graduating from North Carolina State University with his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and has spent his entire career with the firm. McClendon has been the drainage lead for major local clients, including Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) and the Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) for more than five years.

“I’m glad that my professional journey with DRMP has allowed for this exciting career growth,” McClendon said. “Our drainage team has expanded throughout the years, and I’m looking forward to playing a bigger role in that continued expansion.”
